Thinking it was Phillip who had arrived, Angel got out of bed and walked up to the entrance, saying, "Beta Phill…" only for her to halt when she saw Fernando standing in front of her. What the hell was he doing here?
"So that was the errand," he commented and walked further into the room.
"I don't remember calling for you?" Boning her face, she questioned.
"And I don't think you remember who the Alpha of this pack is, Luna Angel." He retorted, causing her to swallow her words. She hated him so much right now that she could stab his chest.
"I need to rest, please leave." Turning around, she instructed hoping he would at least give her the space she needed.
"Are you okay?" After a moment of silence, the next question that came out of his mouth put Angel in a daze. Did he just ask about her well-being calmly and soothingly? Or was the pill making her hallucinate things?
