Chapter 28 - Jerak Will be a Demon Lord?

Chapter: Jerak Will be a Demon Lord?

As Jerak stirred from his troubled slumber, he found himself bathed in the dim, flickering light of the dungeon. His mind still heavy with the weight of his past, he struggled to find clarity amidst the haze of memories and regrets.

Goojiro and Haruki stood nearby, their imposing forms casting long shadows against the cold stone walls.

Goojiro: "Looks like Sleeping Beauty's finally awake."

Haruki shot Goojiro a disapproving glare before turning his attention to Jerak.

Haruki: "How are you feeling, Jerak?"

Jerak rubbed his temples, trying to dispel the lingering ache in his head.

Jerak: "Like I've been run over by a herd of wild elephants."

Goojiro chuckled, the sound echoing through the cramped confines of the dungeon.

Goojiro: "Well, you did take quite a beating from that human. I'm surprised you're still in one piece."

Jerak's eyes darkened with a flicker of anger at the mention of his defeat.

Jerak: "Don't remind me."

Haruki laid a comforting hand on Jerak's shoulder, his expression softening with understanding.

Haruki: "Listen, Jerak. We know you're hurting, but there's something we need to discuss."

Jerak glanced up, his curiosity piqued by Haruki's serious tone.

Jerak: "What is it?"

Goojiro stepped forward, his gaze piercing as he spoke.

Goojiro: "We've been watching you, Jerak. Your potential is undeniable, but you're still holding back."

Jerak frowned, unsure of what Goojiro was getting at.

Jerak: "What do you mean?"

Haruki exchanged a meaningful glance with Goojiro before continuing.

Haruki: "We're talking about evolution, Jerak. Becoming something more than you are now."

Jerak's eyes widened with realization as the gravity of their words sank in.

Jerak: "You mean... becoming a Demon Lord?"

Goojiro nodded, his expression grave.

Goojiro: "Exactly. With your strength and mana, you have the potential to rival even the most powerful Demon Lords."

Jerak's mind whirled with possibilities, his heart pounding with newfound purpose.

Jerak: "And what about Ryu? The human who defeated me?"

Haruki's eyes darkened with a flicker of anger at the mention of Ryu's name.

Haruki: "He's a mystery, that one. Using destruction magic like the Dragon of Destruction himself. But mark my words, Jerak. He won't remain a mystery for long."

Jerak nodded, determination burning bright in his eyes.

Jerak: "Then I'll make sure of it. I'll evolve into a Demon Lord, just like you two. And when I do, I'll show that human what true power looks like."

With newfound resolve coursing through his veins, Jerak rose to his feet, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. For in the depths of his soul, he knew that his destiny awaited, and he would not rest until he claimed it as his own.

Jerak: "I'm hungry now."

System: "Hello Everyone, Its me the system I'm here to explain what is the Dragon of Destruction,

The Dragon of Destruction, also known as Yizorushi, was a formidable and terrifying force during the Blood War, a cataclysmic conflict that ravaged the 5000 years ago. Yizo's power was unmatched, his strength and prowess feared by both friend and foe alike."

Goojiro: "We have food"

Jerak: "Thats what i like to hear"

System: "During the height of the Blood War, Yizo's wrath knew no bounds. He single-handedly brought about the demise of two powerful Emperors, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. With each victory, his legend grew, and his name struck fear into the hearts of all who heard it."

Jerak Gets mad

Jerak: "Goojiro stop using your slime tentacles this is disgusting"

System: "Despite possessing the ability to ascend to the rank of Emperor, Yizo chose a different path. He spurned the offers of power and prestige, rejecting the constraints of authority and control. Instead, he embraced chaos and destruction, betraying his allies and striking out on his own path of darkness."

Goojiro: "I can eat in anyway i want"

System: "Yizo's betrayal sent shockwaves through the ranks of both demons and humans alike. His actions shattered alliances and plunged the world into chaos, leaving a legacy of fear and distrust in his wake."

Haruki: "Do slime men really have to eat food"

System: "Even to this day, the name of the Dragon of Destruction is spoken of in hushed whispers, a cautionary tale of the dangers of unchecked power and ambition"
