Chapter 15 - Kumo Training

In the heart of the Hell Forest, where the darkness clung like a shroud and the air was thick with the scent of blood and corpses, Kumo went on a journey that would test his strength in ways he could never have imagined.

As he went deeper into the wilderness, the forest seemed to come alive around him. But Kumo pressed on, his resolve unwavering, determined to prove himself as a swordsman worthy of his family's name.

His first trial came in the form of a group of goblins, their evil smiles gleaming in the darkness as they attacked him with bloodthirsty cries. With a trembling hand, Kumo drew his sword, steeling himself for the battle ahead.

Kumo: "I can do this. I have to do this."

The clash was fierce and chaotic, the sounds of steel against steel ringing out like a symphony of death. Kumo fought with all the skill and courage he could muster, but the goblins were relentless in their onslaught, their numbers overwhelming.

In the heat of battle, Kumo found himself face to face with a particularly vicious goblin, its twisted grin sending a chill down his spine. With a roar of defiance, he lunged forward, his sword finding its mark as it plunged into the creature's throat.

Kumo: "I... I did it."

The goblin's death cry echoed through the forest, a haunting reminder of the brutality of war. For Kumo, it was a moment of reckoning, a baptism by blood that would forever change him.

As he stood amidst the carnage, his hands shaking and his heart pounding in his chest, Kumo felt a surge of weird emotions wash over him. There was horror at what he had done, guilt at taking another life, but also a strange sense of triumph, a realization that he was capable of more than he had ever imagined.

Kumo: "This... this is what Ryu must have felt. To live in a world where death is a constant companion, where every decision could mean life or death. I understand now, Ryu. I understand."

Haunted by the memory of his first kill, Kumo pressed on, his journey through the Hell Forest fraught with danger and uncertainty. He faced trials that tested his courage, his strength, and his very sanity, each one pushing him to the brink of despair.
