Yvonne cast a concerned glance at the specialist. "Wasn't she supposed to vomit blood?"
The specialist shook his head solemnly. "No, she was supposed to vomit what she ate last. The only way to vomit blood is if the poison is forced to react. I was already suspecting it, but this confirms it."
Yvonne looked at her daughter and was wondering why that person would stimulate it. What was the person's goal? Who could it be?
She doesn't seem to make any enemies with her new face. Why would someone poison her daughter, but not her? It seems very strange.
As Alisa continued to vomit, Yvonne offered gentle pats on the back, her heart aching at her daughter's suffering. When Alisa finally finished and slumped unconscious in her arms, Yvonne's panic surged.
"Alisa," she called out, her voice trembling with fear.
