Chapter 8
I saw a well designed blue jotter labeled,"My life". It looked so enticing and tempting to read but I was still contemplating and trying to fight my conscience so I could read it but I just couldn't read it. I went to sit on the balcony and distracted myself by looking at the sky. After a few minutes I became extremely bored. I was very restless. I stood and walked around the room trying to find what to do then an idea came in
"Oh yes! I'll have a bath and play in the hot tub with and enjoy the feeeeel-ayynnnn(feeling in a stressed manner)". I said to myself as I was dancing and swinging my hand.
I put on the bathrobe Caden bought for me and removed my stockings. I pushed open the door and danced my way to the front of the mirror, I kept staring at the mirror, admiring my smooth and beautiful face. Then I said to myself,
"Damn! I'm pretty, I wonder if everyone notices too".
I left the mirror and turned on the faucet. After the tub got filled, I slid inside the tub and relaxed into the water and let myself drift into a state of bliss.
I Heard the door open but I ignored it because I fell asleep in the tub. I felt someone touch my shoulder while I was in the water naked.
I was already awake but too scared to open my eyes so I had to pretend I was still asleep for him to leave but instead he tapped me. Gosh! I felt like drowning .
I opened one eye and saw him staring at me then closed it back and made both my eyes shut tight.
"Oh she's sleeping, oh my God, wow I'm so stupid how could I see that she's sleeping". He said as he chuckled in a tone of sarcasm.
"Hey stop laughing at me I just slept off waiting for you to return".
"By the way can you please get me Jambox and a phone I really get bored these days waiting for you to return"
"oh I didn't think of that hmm…..okay madam I'll just leave you here, I just wanted you to wake up, that's all ma'am". He passed me my robe and went back to the room.
I was drying my hair with the dryer right before I heard Caden yell my name.
I ran out of the bathroom and saw him stand by his desk.
"Why did you scatter my stuff, you didn't even arrange them back how you met them".
he harshly spoke but it was very rare it made me really hurt that I couldn't help it but to cry.
"Hey I'm sorry please don't cry you just got back from the hospital not so long ago, I didn't mean to yell at you".
He hugged me and rubbed my head. I was having a hiccups so he got me some water.Accidentally, I slipped the cup and it broke. As I tried to clean it up, a piece of the glass slit my hand and made blood gush out.
"Be careful!". He ran to me and checked my hand. Immediately he saw the blood, his eyeballs turned red and his veins popped out all over his body.
He threw my hand away and left me. He was groaning loud in pain trying to resist the urge of feeding from me. I couldn't bear to see him that way so moved closer to him and rubbed my bleeding hand round my neck and his lips.
Caden's POV
It didn't take up to a second, immediately she put her blood on my lips, I grabbed her by her neck and bit her hard. I couldn't just stop myself. she fainted already but I kept on biting and biting till I was full. I came to my senses after I became full but it was too late, Ashley already lost a lot of blood.
She was already dying and I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to take her to the hospital because it would be too late to save her by then. I just did whatever I could, I cut my hand with a piece of the glass and forced it into her mouth. Her wounds started instantaneously but she hadn't woken. I quickly grabbed a cup of water and sprayed it on her face. I sprayed it once, twice and then she started coughing.
I let out a great sigh, I was so happy she didn't die. "If I lost her, what would have become of me? My life is meaningless without her". I thought. I paused and realized what just came into my head.
"Wtf am I thinking, oh my word! Am I starting to develop feelings? No it can't be….No it can be!"
"Uh? What are you saying Caden? I'm lost and confused" her voice was soft and calm.
"Me?uh? Did I say something? No I don't think so, well you need to rest".
"Okay but what happened to me? Why am I on the floor? I can't remember anything.
"Don't worry, just rest, I'll explain to you later when you wake up". I picked her from the floor and dropped her on my bed.
"From now, you'll be sleeping with me on the bed"
"But Caden….."
"shhh…. don't be naughty, close your eyes now".
As I stood up from the bed she ran towards me and grabbed me by my neck and slammed me to the wall. I tried to remove her hand but she was stronger than me. Her eyes became red and she turned pale.
"Ashley what are you doing????? Let me go".
"I don't know how to!!!!!!!! I am really freaking out, I don't know what I'm doing, I can't control it"
As every second passed,she gripped tighter and tighter. I couldn't die but I was in so much pain. She became weaker and weaker till she finally fainted.
" I turned her! Oh my! What have I done?!"
