Lian had made a fighting style just for him and he was confident in it.
The night had long gone, and the sun was starting to show. Lian was still in bed deep in sleep. He was exhausted to the extreme due to the previous day's training. Meanwhile Ladwick and Scarlet were awake and were surprised to find Lian still asleep.
"I guess he was really exhausted from whatever he was doing yesterday." Ladwick said
Scarlet was happy that her son moved around freely with and later comes back with no injuries. This made her happy, but the other fact was that Lian never informed them about where he went so that made her worried.
"We can always ask Pab to tag along with him." Ladwick suggested as he noticed Scarlet worried face. "but from what I have observed is that wherever our son is going he has come back strong and capable."
Scarlet's worry was reduced a little with Pab on Lian's side no bullies will come their way. She had considered Pab to be stronger Lian so if she moved along with him there would be nothing to worry about so she agreed to Ladwick's suggestion immediately.
"Oh I am going to train him today do mind watching us again?" Ladwick said. "And this time am putting a little more effort."
"If you dare hurt my darling boy badly you won't like it." Scarlet snapped. She knew Lian stood no chance against Ladwick even in their previous fight Ladwick had proved it. So she didn't Lian to get hurt or else Ladwick would get from it from her.
Lian was awake already and had finished preparing then head out. As he was descending the stairs, he heard the two voices of people he had expected to be a sleep but he didn't hesitate he continued down and eventually set his eyes on Ladwick and Scarlet romancing he raised his head and focused his eyes on the ceiling.
'They woke up early to flirt with each other.' Lian thought.
Ladwick let go of Scarlet's waist and moved forward. "Hmmmm." He cleared his throat and looked Lian directly in the eyes. "We are training together today then you head to your training."
Lian stayed silent for a while moved his head and glanced at Scarlet who gave him a thumbs up so he had to allow. Scarlet had caught Lian's soft part so Lian would most likely follow her request. Lian allowed as he had seen no harm in it and he could then test the fighting style he had developed on a skilled fighter like his own father.
As usual they both moved to the large space in the compound and Scarlet got a seat at the side acting like the referee in case any thing went wrong. Soon the match started with Lian standing in the strange style he had developed. Ladwick looked at him and couldn't help but chuckle.
"So you made another one." Ladwick said.
Ladwick attacked first not holding back any of his speed. It was incredible Lian didn't have time to react and eventually Ladwick's palm landed on his cheek pushing him to the side several steps away. Lian didn't care for the pain and chose to dash forward at his up most speed slashing towards Ladwick vigorously. Ladwick found it hard to block some of attacks. He decided to use his strength to push Lian back. Lian stood proud with a smirk on his face.
"Don't celebrate yet." Ladwick said. He attacked again and this time at a higher speed than before. Lian thought he could dodge or block the attacks but he was wrong. Every single attack hit him head on and when he blocked the force would push him yards away.
'This man is further stronger than I thought.' Lian thought. 'I have used all my strength but still haven't made any damage and another thing he not using any specific style to attack.'
Lian was right, Ladwick hadn't used any type of fighting style in attacking or defending. He just let his body's instincts to react to the attacks.
"I guess you have figured it out." Ladwick said. "Even though developing fighting styles is good to me it's useless. My body's senses are always active and I don't need to tell my body what to do."
"That can't exist how can one's body act on it's own." Lian murmured with a puzzled expression.
"I see you have the confused expression on your face so am giving homework to learn how to this. Training is done." Lawdick said.
Lian grabbed his wooden sword and was ready to head to the mountains but then Ladwick told him something he had not prepared for.
"Hey Lian, you are heading out with Pab today." Ladwick said.
Pab immediately ran towards her big brother with a cheerful smile.
"Big brother am going to train with you today." Pab said. "And I will be strong to beat those bullies for you."
Lian didn't mind her and just continued walking with her following behind. The trip to the hilltop was short and silence accompanied the duo during their walk. They simply didn't know what to say to each other. Pab had tried once to bring up a conversation, but Lian seemed not to pay attention to what she said so she chose to keep silent.
Reaching the hilltop Lian started performing his warmups and Pab could simply watch him and he had noticed her.
"Don't you have any anything to train?" He asked.
"Mother usually helps with my training." She answered. "But, father told me you would help." She said the last statement with fear due to the grumpy mode of Lian. She feared he would suddenly bark at her.
'What was that old man thinking." Lian thought with frustration but then, 'but it's not bad to remind myself of my old days.'
He moved towards Pab and gently said to her, "I will help you out."
Pab was surprised to Lian's change of attitude but she was happy he had agreed. She didn't want to spend the all the day just looking at him.
"Sit down in a comfort posture and close your eyes." Lian said and he too did the same," Then let your mind be open to the surrounding. You will shortly feel a tingling feeling at your chest, embrace the feeling and let it flow around your body."
Lian opened his eyes and stood up because he could feel nothing flowing through his body he was blank but then suddenly his eyes lit up a little then dimmed. Shortly after that a screen showed up.
[Alora sight: Enables you to see different auras]
'Wait a minute have I just acquired a skill.' Lian thought. He was happy at first but then something struck him, ' This was one of my skills the Xray vision something how come this system knows about it.'
He looked around in amazement as it had been all time since having a skill of his own. He then looked at Pab and it did not surprise him to see a green aura surrounding her chest.
'She's a green attribute mage of course a green aura should surround her.'
Strangely the aura started increasing a bit a Pab's face shone with happiness.
"She's actually cultivating." Lian murmured, "She's a fast learner."
Cultivation was training session where a mage would focus on collecting energy for the surrounding corresponding to their attributes. The energy would then enter their body as mana which is the energy source for mages the more mana the attribute strength.
Pab's aura was increasing just fine but then it suddenly stopped. Pab immediately open her eyes and stared at Lian with sadness.
"It stopped big brother." she said sadly.
"I know." Lian answered as he stared at a certain direction, "Someone else in cultivating from here." He moved towards the direction he was staring at and came to a halted in front of a large bush.
"Move out, please we are not going to hurt you."Lian said as he could see a brown aura behind the bush.
A figure emerged from behind the bush a stood in front of Lian. It was a girl. Black eyes straight long black hair pale brown skin and a slim body she was about Lian's age.
"Don't hurt me am just training." the girl said, "My name is Emily."
