Three Years Later…
Ivy walked out of the airport in tight black jeans and a blue tee-shirt. In one hand, she carried a large suitcase, and in the other, she cradled a sleeping child. Judging by the pink floral dress, one could easily decipher that it was a girl. Her head rested on her mother's neck, shielding her face from onlookers.
Ivy gently dragged the suitcase, clutching it tightly, and securing the handbag that was seated on it. The wind wasn't too strong, but it still made her uncomfortable. Thankfully, she had her sunglasses on, and her hair was in a braid.
As soon as she got outside the terminal, a middle-aged cab man standing in front of his car walked up to her with a polite bow. He greeted her with utmost respect and asked her whereabouts before taking her bags and placing them in the trunk. When she entered the car, the man started to drive.
