The next couple of days were spent in the safety of the lower dimension as they warped into their next destination.
During this time, Henry and Jhonny went over their training many times, often jumping into the single simulation pod on the ship, setting times for each other to beat on obstacle courses, or fighting increasingly difficult AI combatants.
Henry even set up a self-defence crash course for Sarah, who had shown zero combat ability. He hoped that whatever skill her massive brain retained from his courses would help her in future situations of need, but he wasn't too hopeful.
Sarah performed routine checkups on her prototype, tweaking the design on a design tool on her tablet. She thought that if she could learn a few things from this trip and its stress test of her invention, she could progress by leaps and bounds on the next one.
