The chief of staff approached the large control module and stopped before it.
He hovered his military wristwatch over a scanner before scanning his hand on a pad and entering a passcode into a number pad just over it. A blue ray washed over him, scanning his body before the control module beeped.
*Beep beep*
"Identity verified. Major Erakiss. Access granted," a feminine voice said.
'Why are all AIs women?' Henry wondered.
The door started opening before it slammed shut once again, and four turrets slid out of the ceiling and walls.
"Two unknown individuals present. State their purpose, or vacate the area," the voice suddenly threatened.
All four turrets locked onto Jhonny and Henry, making them uncomfortable.
"Stand down, Laani. They are with me. These two soldiers are the replacement guards for Dr. Levington. I've come to add them to the database."
