In my big adventure, dreaming the king's tomb, things took a surprising turn. Instead of an exciting journey, I ended up floating on a piece of wood in the huge White Sea. The boat I borrowed gave in to the waves, leaving me on a single plank, going up and down with the water. They say pirate life is full of surprises, but chilling on this driftwood, I'd say it's more than that.
As the sun warmed me up, I got attached to my makeshift ship. That plank, once a bit of a boat, turned into my safe spot. I kind of became its captain, riding the waves of uncertainty.
Imagine this: eyes closed, soaking up the sun, my arms moving lazily with the cool water. Yes, it was peaceful, but not for long. A big shadow came over me. I opened my eyes to see a cannonball landing nearby. Jumping into the water, I realized I couldn't swim. Sinking down, my eyes closed, and I passed out.
Did I die? Nah, here I am telling the story. I sank deeper than a newbie pirate should, all because I didn't know better. Any regrets? Maybe. But every great story needs a good start, and this was just the beginning of my epic tale.
Hey, I'm Jack Storm, and this is the diary of the soon-to-be Pirate King!

Author speaking here, this is chapter 0, it's purpose as said is to set the hook and me just playing around with this style I'm trying to perfect. Not going to be the best but surely be unique. Hope you stay along for the ride.
