The alien shifted slightly, pain evident in its movements. Dennis's threat hung in the air, palpable and menacing.
"I am not afraid to die," Sakrv finally said, though the tremor in his voice suggested otherwise.
Dennis leaned in closer, "Maybe not," he conceded, "but think about this, do you really want to just cease to exist? Are you that tired of life? Just cooperate and you get to go free."
"I am merely a scout," Sakrv voiced quietly with steely resolve in his eyes.
"In the grand scheme of things, my existence matters not."
Dennis's brow furrowed beneath his helm.
"When the High Command hears of this... encounter. They will decide the next steps," Sakrv added.
"Bold of you to assume they will. You won't be reporting back,"
Sakrv sneered, a sinister sound that seemed to echo off the dense foliage surrounding them.
