Edward's Perspective.
"Mandatory drug tests?" I asked.
"Yeah, all of a sudden too. Part of a new ruling by the A-B-C." Brooke replied.
"Yeah, I heard Damaris had an adverse finding after the fight..."
"Two! Two adverse findings, one just before and another after." Brooke announced.
"I mean I would ask but knowing Mikaela I probably shouldn't. Can't believe she took the fight anyway."
"She should have won the fight in my opinion, she's getting drained by the weight cuts. No power in her shots. She needs to go up a weight class or two. Right now the division's wide open anyway with no champ..."
I turned around to observe Brooke's physique she had put on quite a bit of weight over the last couple of weeks. "You're not thinking..." I began.
"I requested super champ status!" she quickly declared "I'm going up to face the mandatory challenger. Nia Raymond."
My head fell to meet my palm. "Of course you did... Of course."
