Sarah's POV:
I crouched towards the doctor. "You are an expert, right? Tell me how many days I have left. Will I be able to give birth to my child?"
"You want me to be honest? As a doctor, I will advise you to abort the baby as it will cause more harm to your body now," he added, and my eyes bulged.
"What are you saying?" Jacob asked in disbelief.
"I should abort my baby." Has he lost it?
"It's your choice; you could still go through the process with the pregnancy, but I can't assure anything. Now let the nurses admit you if you care about your baby," he scolded.
I wiped my tears, but they kept flowing: "I don't want to cry."
Why do I keep crying when I know there is no need? What is going to happen will happen.
"Sarah, shut up," Elma scolded. "He said he would find a way, so for once, why don't you just believe that a miracle or something good could happen to you?"
"Good?" I asked.
