When Evren and I arrived back at the palace, we both stepped out of the car and headed for the fort.
"Congratulations!!!"
There were balloons and ribbons flying everywhere. They must have heard the news, but I never thought they would celebrate me the way they did. Evren's family are unique people, they could celebrate even an ant for laying eggs.
"I am so proud of you Adara." The queen said adjusting her dress as she walked up to me and hugged me. She hugged Evren too as he hugged her back.
"Thank you."
"You have made the family proud Adara. I hope the decision of handling the company was a good one?" Evren's uncle said as he pat my shoulder too. He might have been looking at me, but it was clear he was speaking to Evren and not me. I hope the idea of me being the new CEO was a good one. I didn't believe in myself either but the man beside me believes in me.
"Adara is the best person for it." Evren responded.
