"This here is the contract Adara had signed that day. She had agreed to give all of her inheritance and her shares in the company to me." Dalton said so proudly.
"Your forced me to sign them." I retorted and Evren held my hands from saying anything.
"Don't bother explaining, he doesn't own anything." Evren said calmly just for me to hear. I stared at him in confusion, wondering what he was talking about. He spoke so confidently that one would think I hadn't signed the documents, but I know I did. I had given my life away to Dalton Bancroft.
Dalton waved the paper for everyone to see, the first man that read it immediately said, "This is accurate, it had Adara Langford's name and the date it was signed." He confirmed and the lady smiled for the first time since we stepped in here.
