The dragon carrying Edward and the girls reached the other nation at its maximum speed in just nine hours and thirty-seven minutes.
Everyone in the dragon's cabin had fallen asleep for three hours, except for Professor Elivian, who had suggested the nap herself.
"Miss Elivian, we're almost there. I'll contact the landing base now," the orc said, with a magical circle in front of his mouth, the only way to communicate with those inside the cabin as it was magically isolated for the privacy of its clients.
The orc touched his right ear with a finger, causing another magical circle to appear, saying, "Pilot 08173, dragon master 9162 requesting permission to land."
"Confirmed. Welcome, Mr. Cordon..." a voice came from the magical circle in his ear, with a hint of hesitation.
"Sir? I'm just a pilot, I don't deserve that much respect," Cordon said, hearing something heavy falling to the ground judging by the noise.
