The next day after Edward woke up a bit, Litty was with her jaw almost dropping as she floated in front of him.
"Why did you agree to this? Unlike the novice tournament, you're going to represent this academy there; do you know how many eyes will be on you?" Before Litty could continue speaking, Edward covered her mouth with a finger.
"Don't worry about that; no one will even look at me, and even if they do, by then, the owl should already be dead," Edward said, and for some reason, upon hearing this, Litty's body trembled.
"How can you be so sure? Isn't the academy meeting in a few days?" Litty asked, sitting on Edward's armrest.
"The smarter move would be to disappear now. After all, he's dead to everyone... But that's not what he'll do because one way or another, he's still a villain," Edward said, lifting Litty onto his head to leave the room. "And by now, he must have figured out how to attack this place."
