"So, this is how things work in the capital," Edward said, already twelve minutes into his reading.
"Hah... And here I was wondering why a book on fauna and flora has so much concrete information about the capital," Litty said, incredulous, perched on Edward's right arm with half of her body resting on his hand.
"That's what you get for not reading anything. Did you really expect me to read aloud for you?" Edward said, his other hand tapping the page of the book.
"Of course, I did. I'm not obliged to read when you can do it, and nobody would hear you anyway," Litty said, flying off Edward's hand and hovering in front of his face with her hands together. "Can't you give me a summary? Please, I'm not one for books without pictures."
Edward, with a deadpan look, flicked Litty again, causing her to spin in the air. "It's your laziness that's causing a snowball of problems."
