Shortly after Sasha left the room, Litty was sitting on Edward's chest while he lay on the bed. With her arms crossed and a slightly concerned look, she asked:
"Are you sure it was a good decision to do that?"
Edward, his eyes closed, let out a lazy yawn before answering:
"There's not much we can do. I just made the situation as favorable as possible for myself."
Litty narrowed her eyes, irritated by his casual tone.
"The way you talk, it sounds like you're in control of everything. But unlike the one in your shadow, the other can defy you, even with the vassal mark."
Edward gave a faint smile and slowly opened his right eye, gazing at her.
"Are you sure about that? Maybe you should pay closer attention."
