Although Wyonna had already told Jack several times to stop sending her things, she received yet another gift that afternoon.
However, there was only one.
She really could not understand. If Jack had no more money, why was he still sending her gifts?
That night, while doing her assignments at home, Wyonna's mind kept wandering when she looked at the pile of gifts on her table.
Shane was seated next to her, helping her with her assignments, when he saw that she was absorbed in thought. He picked up a textbook and hit her head with it. He then said, "Concentrate on your assignments. Why are you so distracted?"
"Mr. Shane, could I ask you a question?" Wyonna still could not make sense of what was going on. She took a deep breath and continued, "If a guy sends a girl flowers and gifts every day, does that mean that he likes her?"
