Shane unexpectedly pulled her to the couch and had her sit on his lap, circling his arms around her. Then, he unlocked his phone right before her, opening the log, and explained to her who he had contacted one by one.
"This is the boss of Rising Star Electronics, and that one is the CEO of Celestial Mining..." Shane's voice was heard right beside her ears, making her heart flutter.
After he was done with the names on the log, Shane opened the chat apps and said, "So, anyone you'd like to check in here?"
Wyonna just tapped one of the icons and began to explore what was inside. The chats were filled with nothing but business talks, and all of them sounded boring, disinteresting to her.
"So, you'll believe me now?" Shane studied her expressions as he asked.
"Sure, I believe you." Wyonna nodded and struggled, trying to get up.
