Shane ordered Alan to drive him to the hospital after he got changed. He gave Wyonna a call and asked at which hospital Louis was brought in.
Alan was rather puzzled, "Sir, why are you bothering with Louis? He's fighting you over Ms. Sinclair..." Shane narrowed his eyes and said, "He was the one that took a hit for Wyonna after all, and well, I have to be the bigger man here."
Alan was speechless, thinking that what Shane said sounded wrong, coming from someone like him.

Louis was done with his checkup at the Pennvale First Hospital, with some nurses at his side as he emerged. Wyonna went up to him, looking rather concerned. "Is his hand gonna be okay?"
"Mr. Young suffered a fracture, but it's nothing serious. We've got him in a cast, and he just needs to be careful for a week or so," one of the nurses elaborated to Wyonna.
