Wyonna was soft-hearted. After all, she had raised Susie for half a year. The child was innocent no matter what her parents had done.
So she held Yolanda tighter in arms and told Anna, "All right. You go give a blood transfusion first. I'll get even with you later!"
Anna thanked Wyonna in tears and then followed the nurse to the emergency room.
The corridor gradually quieted down. The Muller family and Green family all came to see Yolanda and poured scorn on Anna and William.
"They're too cruel. How can they come up with such an idea!"
"Look at how skinny Yolanda is. She must have been abused by Anna."
"Such vicious people should be driven out from the Muller family."
Standing in the corner listening to these comments, William unconsciously clenched his fists. He shouted at Mr. and Mrs. Muller, "It's all your fault! If you accepted Anna as a daughter-in-law and our poor child, how could she do such a thing?"
