Daniel asked his assistant to drive him and Alice home. Along the way, he repeated assurances to Alice that he wouldn't bother her at all.
Thus Alice believed. Though Daniel was bad-tempered, he was a true gentleman. If he wanted to do anything to her, he would have done it already since she lived here for a long time before.
Alice was so exhausted that she fell asleep in the car before she got home.
While sleeping, her head slipped down slowly and leaned directly against Daniel's shoulder.
She was sound asleep, but it was a hard time for Daniel. Feeling her sweet breath, Daniel got muddled.
He wanted Alice back tonight. They hadn't seen each other for a long time. Thus he missed her and wanted to kiss and hug her.
But she was so tired that he dared not bother her.
"Forget it. Be patient," Daniel said to himself.
Thinking so, he just raised his hand and adjusted her sleeping position to make her lean in his arms more comfortably.
