"Don't be like that, take heart! I believe I'm sure you'll gonna meet someone better than me." He looked unnatural in that decadent appearance. "I'm sorry, but I have to go now." Wendy left with those words of comfort.
It was improper for her to spend so much time alone with the guy she used to like since she was now Alan's girlfriend.
"Yeah, go ahead, please. I'm going to have a smoke." He nodded and lit a cigarette.
It had been a long time since he smoked cause he knew Wendy hated it. But now, he had to return to it to relieve his irritability.
The fire was burning on the cigarette, and pieces of the memories hit his mind as smoke slowly spread out.
"I'm afraid I can't find anybody else better than you," he mumbled, looking at her back.
And he was in no mood to start a relationship with others.
Walking through a long corridor, Wendy could see Alan waiting at the end of it.
"Why are you here?" She asked with a guilty conscience.
