Hearing this, Daniel began to flutter and didn't answer back. He lowered his voice and said to Michael, "In fact, my wounds have already healed."
Michael stopped to ask, "What? Then why do you still put this bandage?"
"It's my trick. Now you know why Alice agreed to be my girlfriend?" Daniel said smugly.
"That's it. You're so vicious." Michael said sarcastically.
But he was inspired by Daniel.
"If I use this trick, will Wendy forgive me?" Michael thought.
"It's a brilliant strategy. You know nothing about how to woo a woman." Daniel harangued.
"Michael is a famous dandy in Pennvale, but now he needs to learn from me. It's funny."
"All right, stop it. You're a lier." Michael warned, "You'll be screwed if Alice found out."
"How can she know if you don't tell her?" Daniel patted Michael on the shoulder and asked, "You'll keep my secret, right? Remember to cooperate with me later."
