"For dinner, I want to eat seared Ahi tuna, Andouille sausage, Clam chowder..." Daniel lay on the bed leisurely and listed what he wanted.
"No, you can't eat these. You didn't fully recover," Alice said seriously, staring at the bandage wrapped around him.
Daniel had been stabbed in order to save her that day. The doctor said that he would recover in a week. However, more than half a month had passed, the bandage still wasn't removed.
Daniel felt guilty when she stared at him. He coughed and said, "Stop staring at me. Get me something to eat!"
"I've recovered several days ago. I don't want her to know the truth now," Daniel thought.
He liked that Alice could accompany him every day.
Alice then stood up and said, "I'll buy you some soup then. You'd better have some bland food."
Daniel watched her leaving. He couldn't help smiling but...
"I do like her taking care of me, but I don't want to have soup every day."
