Wyonna caught the implication. She said, "I didn't know that you and Shane knew each other this well before. I guess that's because Shane has never mentioned you. So that was a misunderstanding. Don't take it personally."
"Alright, let's talk about work," Penny said embarrassedly.
"Okay." Wyonna always kept personal issues out of work place. She took out the documents.
Although Penny had some hard feelings, she still valued the job. So she took part in the discussion wholeheartedly.
The discussion didn't finish till noon. Penny invited Wyonna for lunch before leaving, "There's a steakhouse nearby. Wanna go together?"
"No thanks. My honey is waiting for me." Wyonna smiled and walked in Shane's office, as if asserting her dominance.
