"Yes." Wyonna couldn't help but chuckle. This man was so childish. It was like he got a reward and wanted to show it off to his rivals.
Getting Wyonna's permission, Shane pulled out the marriage license from his pocket and took a photo of it.
Wyonna was surprised by him, "Shane, you put it in your pocket all the time?"
"Yeah, every time some woman tries to hit on me, I would show it to her." Then he continued awkwardly, "And I can look at it every time I get tired at work."
When thinking of making money for his wife, he had the incentive to work hard again.
Wyonna chuckled again when picturing what he said.
While Shane was taking the photos, Wyonna made another request, "I need to talk to you about something. I'm thinking maybe we can let Alice work on the comic version of my novel."
She knew Alice was very good at this. She just didn't have the chance to major in art at university, so Wyonna wanted to help her friend.
