On the Mooncrest Training Ground where the boys were still there discussing their theories about the upcoming competition. Little did they know they were about to get a visit from a couple of guests.
In a sudden swirl of ethereal mist, Seraphina Mooncrest materialized before them, and standing next to her was a little girl who seemed to be the same age as them.
"Who is that?" Key said with a confused look on his face.
The Quadruplets weren't very familiar with any kids their age or just people in general, as they had barely left the confines of their home. The only time the boys have met anyone near their age, was when the Patriarch of the Mooncrest Family showed up on their doorstep, which was a surprise visit. The Patriarch said his reason for visiting was because he was showing his son around the countryside. Which was an obvious lie He just like the other branches had heard rumors that the boys if at least one of them had been born with more than 7 talents 2 of them being A rank. His true reason for coming there was to have his son fight and beat the one the rumors were about to settle some unrest he was feeling.
Of course when he arrived and observed the boys he believed Key to be the one with the most potential cause of his brash and rudeness, believing only someone with some talent could back it up. The Patriarch's son who suggested the spar obviously lost. His son was utterly humiliated and almost killed in the fight told Victor or Seraphine to never speak of this before taking his leave.
With a bright smile that never seemed to fade away, Seraphine answered Key's question. "This one right here is Aaliyah Mooncrest. She will be joining us for the competition this weekend because her parents won't be able to make it, they have other matters to attend to."
Aaliyah Mooncrest, a delightful elven child of just five years, brings a spark of enchantment to the Mooncrest training ground. Her wide, almond-shaped eyes carry a playful gleam, reflecting her innocence and confidence. Aaliyah's raven-black hair falls in tousled waves, hinting at the adventures and activities that have captured her youthful spirit.
Dressed in practical yet charming attire, Aaliyah exudes the carefree energy of childhood
" So these are the Quadrtruplets from the rumors, I remember my mother warning me about them, how they had just as many talents as I did one of them being A rank. I wonder if the other rumors are true that they defeated the Patriarch's son. Hmmm well, I wanna see for myself not like his son was that strong anyway I beat him a few months back."Aaliyah wondered.
Taking a few steps away from Seraphina and towards the boys. She stared at them with a cold gaze like trynna to read their minds.
Not wanting to say it aloud Key spoke in the telepathic link "Why is she staring at us like she wants to eat us or something."
"Maybe she's a little slow."
" I think she might have gas."
"I have a bad feeling about this."
The group all gave their thoughts on Aaliyah's creepy stare.
Everyone stood there in silence staring at each. Aaliyah still observing the boys seeing who might be the strongest, notices something about one of them, she lifts her left arm and points at Ceteus. " You, spar with me."
Ceteus could only chuckle at the girl's demand. "I don't think you wanna do that."
"Seems like someone scared to lose in their own home." Aaliyah snarked back.
Ceteus starting to get annoyed."I actually just don't feel like wasting my time with someone weaker than me."
"Weaker than you, I doubt it, but why don't we see if that is truly the case." Aaliyah said trying to rile up Ceteus.
"Fine but don't go crying to my mother when I put you down."
" Alright let's do this for a second I thought you were too scared to even try."
Ceteus and Aaliyah marched towards the center of the training ground, their expressions marked by a simmering tension that suggested a less-than-friendly encounter. Ceteus, his hair tousled and eyes sharp, exuded an air of quiet confidence as they neared the sparring arena. Aaliyah, on the other hand, displayed a playful yet defiant demeanor, her raven-black hair adding to the sense of intensity that lingered between them.
As they approached the arena, the atmosphere crackled with an unspoken rivalry. Aaliyah shot a challenging glance at Ceteus, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "Ready to see how a real fighter does it?" she taunted, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. Ceteus responded with a subtle smirk, his retort laced with a hint of sarcasm, "Oh, I'm sure I'll be impressed by your skills."
The training ground became the arena for a clash of youthful determination, the anticipation hanging thick in the air as Ceteus and Aaliyah prepared to spar. In the heart of the Mooncrest training ground, a different kind of magic unfolded—one fueled by rivalry, competition, and the sparks of a confrontation waiting to ignite.
