I didn't expect it. 

He bent his head and kissed me. It was a light but burning kiss, then he looked at me with a smirk on his face. Giving me that knowing look, I just stood there staring at him. 

 " bye" he said smiling as he entered his car and zoomed off. 

All these while I was still not conscious as I didn't realise I was staring. Every where felt so cold but the only thing that felt warm were my lips, from his kiss. My hands found its way to my stuttering lips....

Wait!... isn't it such a bummer to start from the most intriguing part of the story?... I think I should start from where I think is the beginning.

 I"m a girl. 'Of course' . I know you'll be expecting the story of a some kinda nerd that became a star or a story of the coolest girl falling in love with a random guy. Lol. NO!. I'm an average girl at school. I'm not a nerd or a book work neither am I one of those sassy girls that claim to be fashionable. It's just a story of a normal girl in high school. I hate that I'm still in high school cos i don't really like studying especially if it's compulsory, but I study anyway just to please my parents and I'm so happy that I'm in my last year in high school. 

P.s I hate boys!!!.... Ever since I was almost harassed By a random guy on my way home after a very painful heart break, I just seem to despise them and I'm happy that none of them have been trying to hit on me. I don't give them the room to try anything stupid. Well the most important thing you need to know about me is my name. Alex.

 "Alex!" Someone shouted my name from my seat. I looked back and saw Becca with a nasty look on her face. Becca is literally my only friend and I love her so much..

 " What were you thinking about " becca stated heading to my desk. " I was trying to tell you something the whole time in class but you turned deaf ears"

 " I can't remember starting a conversation with you in class today." I answered 

 " well I texted you " she corrected giving me that grin 

 " You were texting and not talking so next time be clear with your words and besides you know what Mr Anderson will do if I fail his class so I can't afford to miss out " I was already exhausted during the class and I don't think I'll have time for chit-chat because am famished and I need to go grab my lunch. I stood up heading to the cafeteria. 

 She rolled her eyeballs " Alex, don't tell me you're fuming again because I have a lot to tell you about Jake." She said squealing. 

 Ugh. Her crush. The love i have for becca is no longer a 100% because I always have to deal with this part of her. She's such a lover girl.... and the thinking that beats me is that Jake is a f*cking player but becca never sees that. 

 " Whatever" I said as she started to feed me with talk about the last time she saw Jake. Lunch break took like forever. I was so happy when she ended her talk even if I wasn't really listening. 

 " I'm so happy Alex. I'm finally gonna go out with him on a date" she paused " Are you not happy for me?" She asked when I didn't respond. 

 " Of course I am " I said " Wait!... you're going out on a date with Jake?!" I exclaimed almost choking on my drink. I can't let her go on a date with a pervert like Jake. " How did that happen?" I stated then it dawned to my realisation that she's already fuming.

 " Seriously Alex!.. do you weren't even listening to all I have been saying all this while?" She said wide-eyed 

 " it's not like I wasn't listening, I was just carried away.." I said trying to defend my self from her wrath. Becca loves the spotlight so when she talks. You listen

 She raised her eyebrows " well it seems like my presence Is not needed here anymore" she said as she stood and took her leave. 

 " Becca!..." I tried to call her back but she turned deaf ears. I guess that was it, which means I'll have to be a lone-walker for the next three days. I'll have to give her sometime to cool off and the maximum number if days for her is three....
