After everyone but my girls left, I walked over to get between the women.
"Marcella? Can you get some servants to bring food for everyone here? I need to talk to Tryst for a bit, but then I would like for the two of us to go out for supper. I think that we both have a lot of catching up to do," I explained, turning my head to Marcella, whose blue eyes lit up at the mention of going out.
She nodded eagerly. "Of course, Gideon! I'll make sure everything is arranged for dinner. Just give me a moment."
As Marcella hurried off to attend to the preparations, I turned my attention to Lily, who let out a sigh.
"I am not going to make excuses for Marcella, but we have been apart for a long time. I plan on spending the rest of the night with her after this," I explained, and Lily came over to hug me.
I wrapped my arms around her and then kissed the red hair on the top of her head. After a moment, Princess Lilliana pulled back to look up at me with a smile.
