Standing in the arena surrounded by unconscious attackers Elise turned towards us in the private room panting from exhaustion I stood up holding Emily as we cheered for her happy she was one of the few that lasted to the end
As the crowd cheered the colorful Dwarve popped out of the ground as the unconscious body's around the arena sink into it the colorful Dwarve said a couple words congratulating the seven that were left standing when he was done I teleported to Elise and brought her back to the room " you did great my love "I told her helping her sit down in her chair
At that moment my card started to glow " I guess it's my turn " before I turned to leave Elise grabbed my hand " be careful " she went silent for a second before adding " and don't kill anyone " I looked at her hurt " geez who do you think I am " she just stared at me Seeing this I rolled my eyes " I'll make sure to hold back a bit " Hearing this she smiled letting me go of my hand so I can join the arena the next round started a few minutes after I appeared on the arena though this time something very familiar happened as soon as it started almost everyone turned towards me
I looked around shocked " again seriously " the people nearest to me charged while some in the back started trying to attack me with ranged weapons
I took a deep breath as lightning crawled over me causing everything to slow down
' you got this its just like one of you favorite video games analyze your surroundings find the best path then execute ' I thought to myself trying to calm myself down little 'you can't compare real life to a game ' I just smirked at what the demon said " watch me" I took running towards the closet person leaving a trail of lightning behind me

Elise looked out at the arena with mixed emotions seeing her husband get stared down by almost the whole arena at that moment Emily stood up on her lap spreading her arms and wings out yelling " you can do it papa I believe in you " her husband looked at them with a smile he opened his mouth to say something but he got attacked before he could
Elise and emily watched as he did his best take on the people around him as they were watching there husband/ father there was a knock on the door to there private room lazza went over to the door and looked threw the peep hole to see who it was confirming it wasn't a threat she opened the door and a well dressed dwarve entered when he got near Elise he bowed " princess Elise the dwarve king would like to speak with you if that is ok"
Elise wasn't really shocked by this she thought something like this would happen eventually she was a bit annoyed it was happening now she wanted to watch her husband " Amelia please watch Emily for me I'll be right back" Amelia nodded taking Emily as Elise walked out with the well dressed dwarve
She followed him down a corridor leading to another private room though this one was slightly bigger along the way she could hear the cheers of the crowd inside the room the Dwarven king sat on a comfy looking chair watching the arena " hope you have been enjoying the capital it has been a while since you or your father has visited here" the king said in a rough voice after Elise entered
Elise did a slight curtsy " I have it's just as wonderful as when I was a child " the Dwarven king nodded the Dwarven king nodded gesturing to a chair nearby for her to sit and she did " I had heard you married again recently but I don't remember the prince of the human kingdom looking like that "Elise at her husband who the king pointed at of course he couldn't see any of this nor did he have the attention to spare looking anywhere else then the arena
" matters of the heart often come into conflict in these situations as I'm sure your aware " the Dwarven king looked to the side at the vacant seat beside him with sadness resting a hand on it's armrest " I am" Elise looked at him feeling bad for digging up some bad memories for him she stayed quiet until he was ready to say something again
Eventually the king turned his attention towards the arena again " do you think he can survive this " he asked watching a blue bolt shot across the arena slamming a dwarve into the arena wall Elise smiled even though she was worried for her husband she also had faith in him" he will I'm sure of it" the dwarve king was surprised by Elise's confidence at that moment the door to the room opened and the king's attendant entered with a another dwarve noticing Elise confusion he explained " I had the healer that was coming to your room come here instead"
Elise nodded in understanding every participant that moves on gets a healer for any wounds they may have to make sure they are ready for the next round of the tournament loud cheering brought Elise's and the Dwarven kings attention back to the arena
They saw ghost standing covered with lightning facing off against two familiar faces as a couple unconscious body's sunk into the ground around him " I'm surprised you and your beautiful wife aren't fighting together don't worry I'll take care of her in the next round " a buff tall human said with a wink even though Elise was far away she could still see her husband's left eye twitch
" gods Ti I've always hated how you think and act do you even have a brain in that head of yours or is in your dick"
Ti opened his mouth but got a smack to the back of his head " again that is the elven princess keep your mouth shut before you cause us trouble just beat him that was the job" Hearing this Elise frowned was it you she asked the Dwarven king who shook his head " no it wasn't if you didn't know your husband hasn't kept a low profile while staying in the city I'm sure he has pissed someone powerful off if I didn't want to risk getting on his bad side from all the rumors I would have done something about him too"
Hearing this Elise lost her temper causing the to become very cold making the doctor treating her wounds flinch away but she quickly took a deep breath making everything go back to normal ' maybe my father is right he is a bad influence on me but I dont know if i can live without him either ' Elise thought to herself after apologizing
The Dwarven king sighed " it fine little one i understand you have really fallen for a troublesome man " Elise slowly nodded before looking back at the arena at her husband and smiled " that I have" the Dwarven king smiled looking at Elise as he remembered his late wife saying the same thing about him
Back in the arena Elise watched as ghost charged at Ti but when they collided a shock wave was released blowing a few people back when everything settled what Elise saw shocked her Ti had caught ghost's attack
" there aren't much things stronger then me in this world" Ti laughed before throwing a punch with brass knuckles on his hand
ghost was still shocked that someone managed to stop his attack so he was a bit to slow react letting Ti get a solid hit on him
Elise stood with a worried expression as ghost was sent skidding across the arena like a stone on water even from where she was she could hear the loud crack
When ghost came to a stop he struggled to his feet holding his arm which was bent at a weird angle' he fucked up my rhythm ' ghost though to himself as he closed his eyes but a blunted arrow smashed into his broken arms causing him to scream in pain and loss focus on teleporting seeing this a dwarve nearby holding a kanabo to advantage of this tripping ghost and together with a few others they jumped him not giving him a chance to fight back
Elise looked at the Dwarven king " make them stop"he shook his head " they haven't done anything wrong" Elise frowned at this " then don't be surprised by what happens next " she looked back at the arena with mixed emotions ready to jump into the arena at any moment a few seconds later what she thought would happen did a colorful explosion happened sending the people beating ghost flying
when the beautiful fire cleared everyone could see ghost slowly stand up again but this time with a blood red crescent moon on his forehead the shadows near grew noticeable darker on the other side of the arena Ti smiled cracking his knuckles " things just got really interesting "he said causing the elf always with him to roll her eyes " don't let your guard down"
