A almost a week have as passed since I came to this world and started to stay in the palace it has been great Elise comes and sees me every morning to get breakfast because she is the only able(wants) to wake me then after breakfast with the king and queen we got the training room with zamel and practice combat then focus on increasing my bond with mana around me Elise and are basically joined at the hip which has lead us to get closer the only time we are not together is a few hours before dinner she leaves I asked her once and she said she has things to do she can't spend all day with me which made me feel nice that she has been doing that
but we are still friends I haven't worked up the nerve to ask here any thing remotely related to relationships because don't want to ruin what we have right now which is nice and she hasn't tried to push things either and the only signals that I see that she likes is the blushing or the beautiful smile she has every morning which I've come to realize is for me
But still I'm a little hesitant because there is no way a woman like her is single she can't not with how she is maybe I'm just over thinking things and it doesn't help that her best friend I met the other day seemed to hate my guts for some reason which was a weird meeting for me at least it didn't last to long
Right now I just got done with the last bit of my practice with zamel to increase my bond although I have perfect control over these elements I still need to have my body be able to with stand the strain of what the mana puts on my body basically cladding myself in lightning and manipulate gravity is about all I can do without hurting myself from backlash
I'm on the floor exhausted trying to rest a bit before I go back to my room to rest before dinner starts and zamel is near by looking at me " your bond is getting stronger fast that's good at that is normal for a traveler...how are you feeling about your date with the princess tomorrow " he said I looked back to zamel
" it's not a date she wanted to take me to a tailors so I can get some clothes I can't wear guard clothes forever they don't even fit me properly because I'm to big it's embarrassing at least Elise hasn't said anything but she obviously noticed which is why she decided to take me to get new clothes and I'm pretty nervous It is my first time out side of the palace I'm also excited to see the city" I said to him
Zamel just rolled his eyes at me" yeah sure whatever you say but do know that some elves have a problem with humans still since the last war even if it was a while ago we elves have longer lifespans then normal so we tend to hold grudges longer so try to be patient if something happens remember you are still a guest here I'm not saying you should let someone punk you just don't start anything but I'm sure the princesses presence will keep them away"
I nod at him then close my eyes to rest before going back to my room to clean up before going to dinner and Elise's mother teased me of course she is definitely her mother they both love to do that after dinner I went back to my room to sleep
In the morning I wake up to the familiar scent of fresh sea air and the sweet scent of blooming flowers" time to wake up " I grown in response " if you don't get up I will splash you with water again "
I open my eyes " fine I'm up...I'm up" I said and sat up and she chuckle " clean up and come on I have big day planned for us I put some clothes down for you too put on I'll wait out side " she then left
"Thank you " i say to her before she left After i getting up and got cleaned up I come out of my room she is there with her smile " come on let's go" she said and grabbed my arm to pull me next to her so we can hurry
We first go to a place and have a quick breakfast before we go to the tailors as we are walking around I notice that everything is made of wood it was a bit crazy because some even had leafs growing out of there roofs and a few where what seem to be quite literally trees people were staying in
Along the way she pointed out some of here favorite places and she also stopped to greet a few people who her greeted her along the way to tailors she seems really close to her people which was a bit of a surprise to me but put a smile to know people are happy to greet or talk to her with out any hesitation though no asked about me it seems some rumors have spread about me already
After a little bit we end up at the tailors we are in front of a tree like building " the tailor here is the best in the city can make almost anything in the best quality only problem is he can be a bit rude" she said to me I nodded to her and we walk in
Inside was like a hallowed out tree of course there was a counter in the middle of the tree house and a young looking elf with blonde hair laying on his hands with his eyes closed I look around and on both sides of the walls there are materials in little cupboards and some mannequins with clothes on them that look really nice
When we get to the counter Elise knocks on the counter the young elf didn't open his eyes " come back later we are closed" Elise flicked her wrist and a bit a water in his face " get up Leon your stop messing with me it's a miracle you are still open " Leon finally opened his eyes
" O it's you what do you want " he said to her Elise rolls her eyes " I need you to make some clothes " she said to him " can't right now I'm already backed Logged come back in a couple months" he said lazily and waved his hand like shoeing a bug away " Leon I know how fast you can make clothes do i need to remind you who gave you a license to do business in our kingdom and I can just as easily take it away and make everyone not even come within 50 feet of you even if you are the second best tailor in the kingdom "
He looks at her for a bit see that she was serious he sighs heavily " why did I want to open a store in the first place here " he said Then put a piece of paper on the counter with a rune in the corner of the paper " Elise turns to me " place your hand on the rune on the paper and imagine what you want and it will appear on the paper " I place my hand on it and imagine the kind of clothes I wanted and it appears on the paper perfectly how I imagined it
That's cool I thought " so it's for him hmm...come back by the end of the day it should be done " Leon said while looking me up and down intensely Elise nods" good and it better be some of your best quality " she said
"Yeah..yeah now go I have to get to work " he said and waved us out after we left went all around the city she showed me places she enjoyed or places that were popular for her people it was really nice When it became dinner time she took me to one of her favorite
Restaurants " come on I love this this place I eat here all the time" she said and as we walked in to the restaurant it which was two storys tall with a balcony where you can see the city it looked like tavern almost just with leafs all over it
Inside we meet a greeter " welcome back princess Elise please come this way to your usual spot" the greeter said after a bow and we started towards some stairs that led to the second floor we end up near the balcony where there are some seats for us to sit
Some time later we are waiting for our food to come Elise looks over to me " so what do you think of our city " she asked me and I look out at the balcony " it's gorgeous I love that nature is everywhere but doesn't get in the way of anything it's a beautiful harmony thank you for taking me out and everythingyou have done for me it means a lot to me " I say to her
she smiled brightly " of course you very welcome I'm glad you are liking it here " says to me after a little time our food arrived and we started eating then " didn't think I would catch you here today princess " a young elf said and came over to our table Elise looks at him with disgusted and annoyed expression " what do you want Mel " she said through gritted teeth then I noticed him as the young man I saw talking with the king when I first got here
"What can't I come see my future wife can't I just wanted to say hi and maybe some alone time " he said with a wink Elise's face showed visible disgust and she stood "let go I have lost my appetite" she says and we both get up and start to leave Mel just chuckles at this " you will have to accept it sooner or later you will be mine princess " he said has we leave
As we are walking Elise has a angry expression on her face " is everything fine what was that about " Elise takes a deep breath " everything is fine you don't need to worry about it its just something to do with the kingdom " she said with a smile but I can see a little sadness in her eyes
Well I am worried about it if that prick is going to marry you that worries me a lot actually and I want to know why I'll ask zamel when we get back maybe he knows I thought to myself
" let's go back to Leon he should be done by now then we can go back to the palace " she says and make our way to there
