I stood there looking at Alex when she asked me, what should I say to her? Should I tell her the truth?"
"What are you saying Alex? I didn't run away, maybe you heard me say something else."
I try to look away but she walks towards me as she stares at me.
"What is really going on, Sierra? Since you have been acting a bit funny and you act as if all is well when deep down I know all isn't well. Did Lexi hurt you? Did he do something bad to you? I know that you might have had a little fight with him, but running away from him isn't the best thing. Do not forget that you are already a mother and you have a child."
I look at Alex as she says that. Does she really think that I am happy about giving birth? Gosh, how should I tell her that my child and husband are both beasts?
I look at her as she waits for my reply, and then she walks closer towards me.
