Andrew.
As I stepped out of the house, a wave of unease washed over me, stealing my breath away. The sky was already darkening, and though I knew it was late, I couldn't bear to stay inside any longer.
As I continued walking, a prickling sensation at the back of my neck made me turn around, only to find Linda trailing behind me.
"What?" I questioned, my voice tinged with confusion, as she approached and we locked eyes in a silent standoff.
"I was just making sure you're okay, in case you needed help," she offered timidly.
Looking at her, I couldn't shake the feeling that she was the most clueless person I'd ever encountered, and to top it off, she was my sister.
"What, do you have anything to say?" I demanded, frustration creeping into my tone.
She remained silent, a picture of innocence, but her presence grated on my nerves, and I hoped she'd leave me alone.
After a moment of tense silence, I decided to try again.
