Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

What are your plans for the upcoming party, I mean family dinner? your presence would be needed and appreciated." Mr Miller asked, walking towards the huge mahogany table where Tristan's chair hid. Tristan smiled, tapping his chin with the tip of his pen. "I doubt that," he replied curtly.

"They've not held the annual family dinner in two years because you suddenly disappeared." Mr Miller reminded but Tristan just shrugged his shoulder and stood up. "Perhaps it's a setup to lure me into the death trap of my mother," he said calmly but Mr Miller knew his mood was nothing next to being calm.

"You're convicted that her killer is someone close? And that your father's wife is responsible for it?" He asked as Tristan just shook his head. "I know, I know she did it just to get my father but I don't see the reason for killing her sister after my mother practically caught them in bed together." Mr Miller sighed and walked towards him. he stretched his hands and touched Tristan's shoulder. He'd known both boys from childhood and their bond was admirable, they were inseparable but as soon as their mother died, their bond grew distant, and boom, they wanted each other's head.

A soft rap on the door drew back their attention and Mr Miller walked over to the door immediately, turning to look at Tristan for permission to let the person in.

"Oh, Miss Archibald." Mr Miller said with a smile, opening the door wider for her to walk in.

"I need your schedules for this week and maybe the whole month," she said sternly, looking around the office.

She detested offices because the only mission she'd failed to accomplish in her entire time working for her father was in the office of a retired army general. Kris had to assist her but now? she was perfect.

Tristan's eyes took in her face, his eyes locking into hers, trying to know what she was thinking or who exactly she was. He knew J&J to be the best agency and that's why he always got the best security team from them, but he decided to stop recruiting them without a reason and now he had one under his nose.

For anything, everyone knew him for his thinking abilities, his smartness, and all. "My secretary will send them to you," he replied and watched as she walked over to the door.

"Wait. I'll be attending my family's annual dinner." she nodded and cocked her head.

"When?"

"Tomorrow, night precisely." He said as she scoffed. "I'm learned and I also know when dinner is eaten" He widened his eyes, raising his hands in the air while nodding his head. "You're one feisty lady," he replied as Mr Miller coughed.

He'd been watching the interaction between them and he was amazed at how well they got along with each other.

"And one more thing sir, I'm a Les, do not comment on my boobs anymore." Tristan burst out laughing as his eyes danced with mischief.

"You don't expect me to believe that, do you? you're an interesting person come to the dinner as my date and not my guard." Mr Miller didn't like where this was leading to. He knew Tristan had something up his sleeves.

"Never." she walked out without a backward glance as Mr Miller sealed the door immediately and walked over to meet Tristan.

"You've got something cooking up right?"

"You know me too well Mr Miller, she's suspicious," he replied plainly.

"Terry and John can run a test on her if you're suspicious of her. We can do something like__" The look on Tristan's face told him another thing as his eyes widened.

"You don't think she's immortal, do you?"

"Take your clothes off," Tommy said, yanking off his tie as Kris raised her eyebrows. "I'm not your whore." she replied, looking skeptically at him.

"Let me guess, you're pissed and Maze refused to meet you," she said confidently as he growled, pulling her hair in a painful grip.

"You're my whore, you owe me your life, do not forget that!" he yelled, throwing her to the floor.

Huge chandeliers hung around the room, shining brightly as Mrs Hanks moved swiftly, directing the maids on what and what to do. Mr Hanks, Tristan and Tommy's father would be arriving shortly and she hoped he wouldn't come along with his red-haired slut.

Tommy's car made its first appearance in the huge compound and halted in front of the huge building. She walked out immediately to greet him, her hands wrapping around him in a tight and affectionate hug. "I'm so glad you made it, I hope your brother makes it here," she said, leading him into the house.

"Is Father in?" he asked, sitting on the golden chair by the window. His father had stopped his fatherly responsibilities and focused on dating younger ladies. At a point in school, his father had practically ditched them for a date with their nanny.

He scoffed, recalling all the terrible events as the doorbell dinged.

"Your father is here." Mrs Hanks walked over to the door and threw it open, her smile dropping at the sight of the red-haired slut beside him.

"You came."

He nodded and nudged his slut in while he stood at his spot, looking at her without an emotion on his face or in his eyes.

"You had to bring her along, didn't you?" she said sarcastically, chuckling dryly. "You stole your sister's husband so it's only right if you share with other women."

"Your voice!"

"You don't want him to hear? to know what exactly you are? to know what you did? oh, humor me with that. I know Tristan would, he will stop at nothing till he sees you__"

Shut up! shut your mouth. What are you going to do? tell them? go on." he furrowed his brows at her as she chuckled.

"Enjoy the dinner," she said immediately as she noticed Tommy walking towards them.

"Dad," he called, standing in front of the older man.

"You've grown so much."

"And you haven't aged a bit," Tommy replied curtly, shaking his head. "That's not Lucretia, the last slut." he said, staring at the red-haired as she walked sassily around the room.

"Oh, that's Delilah, you know Delilah in the bible but I think she's more dangerous." Tommy burst out laughing hysterically as he shook his head. "You suddenly know so much about that man up there and his book. That's new. we never even knew our religion." Tommy said, a mischievous grin spreading on his face.

"People change." Mr Hanks said, tapping Tommy on his shoulder.

"You should too," he said, leaving Tommy to join Delilah.

************

"I must confess you look dazzling." Mr Miller said as Tristan scoffed. "I'm not a female, my bodyguard is," he replied, holding a silver chip in his hands.

"What do you plan on doing with that?" Miller asked as John and Terry made an appearance.

"It's for our newest addition, who knows what she has under her sleeves, what's she doing?" he asked, turning to cuff his sleeves.

"She's dressing up and I must confess she takes too long to dress up for a lesbian," Terry said, emphasizing his disappointment.

"She's still a lady all the same. Make sure to follow my darling stepmother's move and do not let her know about it."

A soft knock followed by Maze's appearance put an end to their discussion as she walked in, smiling devilishly at them. "Now this dress is so ridiculously boring."

"Is that a term?" John asked, looking bored already.

"Yeah, it is, come on we've got a long night ahead of us so let's get out of here."

"Where are they? why aren't they coming with us?" Maze asked as she drove, following the map to the Hanks villa.

"You should focus on protecting me and not butting your nose in my business, don't you think?" she chuckled, rolling her eyes. The execution of her plans would begin tonight and there's no stopping it. She'd try to lure him to a lady and if that proves to be impossible, she'll have to go for plan B.

"What are you thinking about? you've gone suddenly quiet." He said, smiling within himself.

He knew she wasn't as innocent as she claims to be but he didn't know what exactly it was about her that intrigued him. Her black little dress showed her curves and snake tattoos which lined from her back over her ass to her thigh.

"Just thinking about life and all, I've got to see my lover in two days and I'm excited," she replied as he frowned.

She wasn't joking about being a lesbian?
