I had one of those strange experiences again.
The world before me warped, and I opened my eyes to a boundless blue sky with sparse clouds.
"What?" I thought to myself silently. I could feel the solid texture of the hard ground beneath me, but this time it was softer. Turning slightly, I realized I was lying on a plain of grass.
"This... is grass, right?"
I got up, took a handful of the lustrous green strands, and felt them in my palm.
Strange.
The grass... didn't feel real.
No, it did. I could clearly feel it, but it was different.
Hmm, it was more like I remembered feeling it—like the texture of the grass and most other sensations I currently felt, I remembered feeling them.
But it also wasn't much different from actually feeling them, which is why I couldn't be sure.
I rubbed the dirt and grass a while longer and nodded internally. It didn't take long for me to realize where I was.
