Leon was shielded by Reo's extra layers of Mental waves, so he only felt his hair and clothes flutter violently in the stormy winds. The air shook and reverberated as the raging gales spiraled upwards and erupted. The concentrated Magic power exploded in green waves, enough to make Reo's skin tingle.
A final pulse of wind burst forth, and it was over. A billowing cloud of greyish-white smoke swept through the area like a sandstorm, obscuring everything from view. Reo knitted his brows and waved his fingers; wisps of directed wind scattered the consuming smoke cloud, clearing a path before him.
"Leon!" he shouted. He could sense his friend's condition and confirmed that he was safe.
"I'm okay," Leon's voice came promptly after. He felt the wind run through his hair and brush his face, then the smoke before him quickly gave way. Reo's figure appeared in his view, his back turned, and his black, messy bun more scattered than before.
