Following my command, a powerful explosion detonated between the Monster and me. I created layers of mental waves around me with a wind barrier and rode the pressure and force of the explosion out of range from my opponent.
My body glided in the howling wind, smoke filling my vision. But I still closely followed the movements of the Minotaur on the other side.
Immediately, I frowned.
'Unscathed.'
Well, that was to be expected.
'One more time in rapid succession.' Letting my body continue to ride the momentum away, I threw my left palm forward. Various miniature specks of light weaved around me with pulsing power far beyond their little sizes and prepared to cast another explosion.
But just then, out from the smoke, something came spiraling at me at a terrifying speed. I detected it faintly with my perception and barely evaded it by twisting my body in midair.
