"So will the kid join or not?"
After Alex left the people robbing the houses, the colleague immediately approached the man who had spoken to Alex.
"It appears he got lost and does not know where to evacuate, so I pointed out."
When the man heard it, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Are you not afraid that the kid will report us?"
He took out his knife and slowly rubbed the pointed tip.
"Do not worry; I know that child. We will not be reported."
He made up a lie.
He did not really know who Alex was.
He is a thief, but not a murderer, so it is best not to touch anything that should not be touched, especially if it is innocent.
"Because you said that, I will believe you."
The man smiled and slid the knife back into his knife pocket.
The man believed what he said and chose not to discuss it.
They continued to gather items that could be taken from the homes.
He sighed as his companion walked away from him.
He was not sure if he believed in him, but it is a good thing nothing happened today.
He also assisted his companions in moving the process along more quickly.

As they were taking things, a man entered another house.
Obviously, the house was quiet and dark, just like the others he had entered.
He had no idea, however, that it was his final moment.
He heard a step behind him.
He initially assumed it was with his companion, but when he looked behind him, his vision darkened.
A club was used to beat the man, causing damage to his skull.
From the eye upwards is split by a green creature's mast.
The man was unable to scream, so his death was a quiet incident.
Nobody saw or heard anything.
A beautiful murder at the hands of a monster.
Unfortunately, the monster's appearance is extremely unpleasant.
However, a monster does not care about their appearance because they lack human-like intelligence.
It quietly disappeared from the scene, leaving no trace.

Alex eventually made his way back to his home.
Opening the door, Rica and Anna were clearly waiting for him to come back.
They knew he was fine, but they knew something was wrong outside the house and were concerned.
They simply calmed down after hugging him.
After their brief greeting, Alex immediately recounted what was going on outside.
He left out the people he saw stealing from houses because they were unimportant to his story.
Following Alex's narration, the two women contemplated what was going on.
The first thing the two of them thought was that the black cloak man might have planned it, but Anna saw that he had died and thus eliminated that possibility.
His plan could be carried out even if he died, but based on her observations during the fight between the black cloak man and Alex, it appears that even the black cloak man was unaware of it due to his movements that did not match what was going on.
After that, they realized they knew nothing but this and decided not to think about it.
The two women were able to rest, so they considered going to the guild building to evacuate.
It is safer there because there may still be monsters hiding in the area who have escaped adventurers and guards.
Alex has no complaints about the two women's decision because all that matters to him is that they are safe.
When he saw that the two women had been bloodied earlier, he could not express how much pain he felt in his heart.
He does not want to feel it anymore, but the final decision is up to him whether he will be stronger enough to protect them.
No, they do have system status.
When you give a man a fish, he will survive for a few days; if you teach him to fish, he will live for the rest of his life.
They should both be independent of him and strong if he wants the two of them to be safe.
They will both be safe in this manner.

They took some clothes and food and placed them in Alex's space bag.
Following this, they went to the Guild Building.
They arrived here and saw the expected view.
Aside from the adventurers and guards who were admitted to the tents, some wounded chose to heal outside because they did not sustain many wounds and could fight in case something unexpected happened.
Anna's first thought when they arrived here was to find Angelina.
Before that, Alex made Anna wear his black hoodie so that no one would recognize her because they had forgotten she was a wanted person.
Alex and Rica agreed with her suggestion, so they approached one of the guards stationed at the tents.
When asked why they wanted to see Angelina, Alex simply stated that they wanted to ask her a question.
The guard stared at Alex for a few seconds before answering his question and pointing to the tent where Angelina was currently located.
They thanked the guard and proceeded to the location he had pointed out.
While on their way, they noticed some people exiting the tent.
'I have no idea who they are, but their clothing indicates that they are adventurers.'
They entered the tent after waiting a few seconds for the people to leave.
Inside, they noticed Angelina looking at the map on the table, thinking about something so deep that she was unaware of their arrival in a matter of seconds.
However, she does not appear to be alone.
'Beatrice?'
Alex also noticed Beatrice conducting research on books for the upcoming monster waves.
She, like Angelina, was preoccupied with her research when they arrived and did not notice their presence.
Both of the women were startled when they noticed other people had entered.
"Oh! I apologize for not noticing you there. Anyway, I am glad you are safe, Alex, Rica, and?"
Angelina is unsure because she cannot see the person behind the black hood, but knowing that there is only one missing person among the three of them, she realizes who is behind the black hood but does not say anything.
Beatrice, like Angelina, realized who was wearing the black hoodie right now but chose not to discuss it.
All that matters is that they are safe.
Alex, who was still unable to move on from the incident with Beatrice, considered it for a few seconds before deciding not to worry about it for the time being because a monster wave was approaching.
He is the chosen protagonist with a system cheat, so now is the time for his debut, right?
