Chereads / Warlock Crimson Of The Abyss / Chapter 27 - Test Rewards (I)

Chapter 27 - Test Rewards (I)

A black orb began to appear as soon as I killed the King, doing the same process as when I killed the Shadow.

The current difference was that when the orb absorbed all the darkness around the creature, it also began to appear blue particles that decomposed all the pale green skin of the King.

The body of a handsome golden-haired man became visible, after that, the body gradually deteriorated from a handsome adult to a slightly wrinkled gentleman to a bald old man with wrinkles all over his body.

Then the King's body turned to dust, lying on the ground and then disappearing into nothingness.

All this happened while the blue particles were absorbed by the black orb.

When the absorption was completely finished, the orb approached me; I was waiting to live again that pleasurable feeling that filled me with ecstasy, the orb was slowly expelling its energy in my body.

My body instinctively responded to the power that the orb gave me.

Thus, a time passed when my whole body was completely recovered and my power grew, in fact I also felt an increase in the amount of Abyss that I could control, create or use.

'You don't seem to notify me like before, huh?' I thought as I remembered the voice that sometimes sounded in my head.

"Anyway... I'm done with this shit, so.... Give me my benefits!" I shouted excitedly without exactly directing myself to a place to speak.

The next moment, the whole Hall disappeared. Now only darkness reigned, the same darkness I was in when I was about to start the Test.

Walls of darkness that you could see the edge of, but you couldn't reach it.

It was practically a small but at the same time infinite cube of darkness where I was at the epicenter and could never leave it.

[Test and Challenge Finished] [Test and Challenge Finished] [Test and Challenge Finished] [Test and Challenge Finished] [Test and Challenge Finished]

[Transferring reward from the Test...]

Suddenly my body was violently shaken, my mind was filled with information of the abyss, my understanding and information of it reaching a new level that I couldn't even imagine before.

"Haaa.... Haaaaaa..." Jade, not from pain but te tiredness, although it was only information I received, my mind worked quite a bit on understanding or rather, burying something in me to understand it.

[Transfer reward from the Challenge...]

The mechanical voice echoed again, then another information came to my mind, but it was very different from darkness, abyss or Chaos.... It was something I didn't even think I received myself.

"Gravity..." I muttered as I understood at least 2% of the law of Gravity, one of the most powerful laws in the world and which, without a doubt was terrifying, being almost on par with laws such as space, times, and so on.

All this, understanding laws of Primordials and divinities took a long time, maybe even years, but the gains from it were really beneficial to me.

I extended my arm a little to open my palm, from there came out a dark aura in the shape of a ball with the smell of death itself.

The black sphere was the size of my palm, its very appearance caused the darkness of the cube to tremble slightly and then return to its normal form.

"So... This is my Physical" I spoke without taking my eyes off the sphere, which floated in my palm, at times it looked like some kind of gas that moved in random parts until it returned to its sphere form.

"The Abyss, some people say that I am the Primordial of the Abyss and the Primordial of Chaos, but in truth I am only The Primordial of Chaos, there is no such so-called Primordial of the Abyss.... But there is a Mortal who ascended to divinity, so powerful that he is on par with Primordials and that is... The King of Death, Lord Supreme of death and abyss" Spoke a dignified and knowing voice that echoed throughout the cube, it was obviously Lord Chaos.

"So this can be said Death and the Abyss, and that the true creator of the Physical is not here? So why you now?" I said with curiously evident in my expression and tone.

I could not see the divinity's expressions, but I could sense without a doubt that he was smiling; "The King of the Abyss is a great friend of mine, he is currently very busy, so I am here to temporarily fill in for him" He commented.

"I see."

I closed my hand, my death aura disappearing.

"We made a deal, didn't we? I hope to see it fulfilled" I spoke again, this time with a professional expression and voice, my posture straight, waiting for what I should rightfully be given.

"Tsk, boy, you are truly something else, but well, first, I'll give your weapon the upgrade" Lord Chaos commented, to be followed by a snap of fingers, a floating rapier coming into view, which was undoubtedly my Duranvil.

"Teleport your real Duranvil to this place to initiate this upgrade.... Thus, let us begin!" declared the Primordial, then causing the darkness of the cube to be drawn towards my weapon, which began to be surrounded by that energy.

Little by little my weapon, which before had a beautiful golden blade, became a dark black blade, darker than the night and with an aura full of death, it still had its shape but even sharper.

Three beautiful blood red or rather crimson red orbs would appear on the lower part of the blade, giving it a more beautiful appearance.

Several red chains would grow from the hilt and the hilt would become half red and black.

All this while a purple and black aura merges with my weapon.

It was all a beautiful and incredible process, making the darkness tremble with excitement at the birth of a new brother for them.

Unconsciously my crimson eyes would glow with excitement at the mere sight of my weapon, as would Duranvil, the mere sight of it caused his orbs to glow the same color as my eyes.

And as if to finish such an act, the weapon slowly plummeted down, sticking into the black floor and merging into it.

"What do you think?" the Lors Chaos asked arrogantly, possibly the way he looked at the current Duranvil in a dazed and surprised manner gave him a sense of pride.

"Oh, nothing, just surprised that the only major change was his appearance" I added, walking over to grab Duranvil's hilt with my left hand and lift it firmly.

Chaos didn't respond to my words, but I could sense from the darkness that he was angry.

"Tsk Tsk, okay, let's move on to the next reward."
