Johnson sighed, looking as if he had aged quite a few years. He just couldn't help it, the talk of Portals reminded him of the memory he wanted to erase from his mind. It was a terrible memory that haunted him to this day.

"Inquisitors?" Dwayne was confused and asked. He had never heard about Inquisitors because usually their existence was either myth or not even known, because they were rarely ordered to do anything. The world was peaceful enough that their existence usually remained hidden.

The Emperor only assigned them with missions once in a while so they were rarely seen and talked. After all, every single person who had seen Inquisitors would want to forget about them so why would they openly talk about them? That's why existence of Inquisitors was rather taboo.
