A smile unconsciously appeared on Lilly's face, hearing William's words. Those few words and that simple smile warmed her heart.
'Ah! I'm really falling for him, aren't I?' Lilly smiled bitterly. She had planned to make William fall in love with her first but she was the first one going down on the the road of love.
[Love really is something, just a day with him, and you're falling for him.]
'Haha, I know, right?' Lilly laughed and then patted William's shoulder. She said, with her usual smile present, "You're right, I will not let anything happen to you."
William just smiled in response.
"Also, the one you just called a weak assassin was actually a Tier 7 assassin, haha," Lilly laughed as her gaze landed on the Assassin's corpses.
"What!?" And she got the reaction she expected from William. He looked at the corpse with doubtful eyes and muttered, "Really?"
