Chereads / Game Saver: I Can Save My Game Any Time I Want / Chapter 3 - 03. The Brain Goes To The Skill

Chapter 3 - 03. The Brain Goes To The Skill

"*****, always remember to think positively... failure does not bring one down. But acts as one's entrance to greatness."

"Oh shut up man, you're in a job interview, not on death row."

...

"Whoah did I just get a fucking day dream?!". Arthur didn't want to go back down, he immediately went back to the shore... after waiting an hour and going back to "The Start".

Arthur had so much confidence in himself, so much energy to take down the blue chinese- "I'll beat the shit out of that Water Dragon.",-Water dragon. This wasn't because he could take the trait of the sea dragon for himself and just make his way up from there.

Matter of fact, he never even thought of that. After arriving at the shore, Arthur was so excited to drink water he rushed to it and submerged his face in the water.

Once again, he had no mouth, eyes, nor nose. "Oh come on! i just want to drink!". The Water Dragon flew out of the water once again. But this time, rather than being eaten, Arthur... "Wait I don't have a plan yet. SAVE! SAVE! SAVE!".

The next couple scenes are so stupid, lets skip it. Just imagine how his "Save" will result.

After repeating from the start and waiting another hour, he went ahead again. Arthur stood afar from the shore, but still in his view. "Now... what can I do...". Arthur started to think for a while, and as things would come eventually, he thought of his skill "Kin".

"Oh yeah, I'll use my skill on him!".

[Kin][Lv. 1][0/1]

[Devour the speciality of a race.]

The skill, description, and its model entirely was pretty bland in of itself. Other than the level with no clear way to increase and the fraction preferably indicating a max of sorts.

Arthur saved his spot and went directly at the ocean and as soon as Arthur saw the Water Dragon, Arthur use- "How the fuck to I activate this?!" well atlesst he tried.

But luck was on his side at that time, as soon as he restarted from his most recent save point, Arthur was successful, he didn't know how, but the important thing was he did.

[Water Dragon Has Been Added To "Kin"]

Arthur looked at his stats if there was any change in it.

[Name][Arthur Pendragon]

[Race][Morph]

[Level][0]

[Exp][0/100]

[Strength][10]

[Agility][[20]

[Vitality][10]

[Skills]

[Kin][Lv. 1][1/1]

[Pseudo-Dragon Speed][Lv. 1]

The first most noticeable change was in his stats. It was a surprise, his agility stats had increased by 10.

"Then that means...". It was truly the correct human reaction. Arthur ran around the shore as fast as he could. As he never gets any fatigue, Arthur can run at peak speed all the time. But it seems he wasn't faster, more so he was just the speed as before.

[Death Penalty][1 Stack][-50% All Stats][Duration: 00:56:43]

"Ohhh...". Arthur stopped from running and stood in place at where he was. That place was sadly the shore, the den of the Water Dragon.

[You Have Died]

...

"Oh fucking damn it. Wait what happens to my death penalty now...".

[Death Penalty][2 Stack][-50% All Stats][Duration: 01:00:00 Hour][Skills Are Temporarily Locked][01:00:00]

"Ahhh-". Arthur's skills are now locked in an hour duration. And his stats duration has also reset and is back to one hour again.

Arthur had no choice but to once again wait an hour till his penalties are removed. While waiting Arthur then checked the other change in his status screen.

[Pseudo-Dragon Speed][Lv. 1]

[Your agility is one of the fastest whether it be the skies, land or the water. As an incomplete form, its abilities are not comparable to its original capabilities.]

[When Activated: 2x Speed]

[Duration: 1 Minute]

[Cool Down: 1 Hour]

"2 times, already? Well this is an overpowered skill.".

...

After an hour passed by, Arthur changed. He didn't try to play with his, but he finally tried to get out of this plains.

He had two incomplete plans. First was to try and defeat the dragon, whatever way he needed to. Second, with his new acquired speed, he can try to reach the end of the entire plains, for the off chance he finds a new land.

Both were obviously near impossible, but he had no other choice.

But the real question was... how can he kill the dragon. Well Arthur... was not troubled by this.

...

The Plateau is not a completely flat ground. From the very start the place was a beautiful ground of flowers. It was so full of flowers it probably covers more than half of the continent.

The flowers are not in any way normal. Some flowers are taller than Arthur, making them look like trees. But they are in no way trees, as the flowers still had thin stems despite their height.

The stems can't be used as a sharp weapon though. They are not durable nor sharp, but they are extremely flexible and have great elasticity.

Arthur removed the stem from the ground, and cut the petals. If he were to use these stems, they definitely cannot be used as a sword. It can mostly be a whip or an impractical bow. But Arthur seemed to be content with a whip...

...

Arthur smiled staring at the whip and staying silent. The energy around was definitely different.

*Bang!

"Damn! That was louder than a gunshot!". That was a weapon that could definitely deal great damage. But it was impractical either way. With the thickness of the stem, Arthur needs to hold it with two hands, and he can barely swing it.

"Well time to kill this dragon.". But once again he seemed to be unbothered. Arthur walked to the shore once again. This time dragging a 2 meter long stem with even roots still covered in dirt at the end.

As usual, he only needed to make a few disturbances at the shore to call the Water Dragon out of its home.

As the same pattern...

"Did you know..

the dragon flew to the air

"...I let you kill me...

and went straight to him.

"...only because I had no weapon."

The dragon was huge, it was longer than a normal train. And as thick as an eight wheeled truck.

Which makes it a very easy target, despite the speed it was going.

Arthur swung the stem to hit the side of the dragon. The dragon was un injured but it was definitely concussed. While in a state of confusion, Arthur threw the stem and climbed the back of the dragon with his speed.

[Pseudo-Dragon Speed Activated]

Arthur did not climb the dragon to ride it though. Neither did he do it to punch it there. He did it to get something every dragon has. It's greatest weakness.

"Reverse Scale! You'e not that long you son of a bitch!".

But once again, as common sense would put it. To attack the removed scale of the dragon is the way to defeat it. But Arthur is way too weak and the hole was definitely too small to use the scale itself.

"Just one stab for the joy.". Arthur stabbed the skin with the reverse scale and left running towards its head once again.

As the dragon felt a pinch of pain, which was probably too much for a being that only had one space it can be damaged, the dragon flew upward to the skies.

Like in a cool action movie, as the dragon was lifting its head to ascend, Arthur jumped in front of the dragon landing in it's mouth.

Without wasting chances he landed with the reverse scale at the front. He then ran inside the dragon's stomach. As the dragon was spinning in circles trying to remove the insect in his insides, Arthur was getting juggled inside.

"I have spun myself for days, do you really think my spinning was for nothing!". It was either a plan or a coincidence, but spinning himself 360 degrees for a long time has given him a perfect ability to never get nauseous.

Arthur was falling in the air and hitting the dragons inside with his back and front multiple times. As he was continuously falling he was using the Scale as an anchor to stop his fall, resulting in many long sliced injuries inside the dragon.

This got repeated so many times a normal person would definitely die in just the nausea, and the pain of landing violently.

But luckily, Arthur can't feel pain, but even without the feeling of pain, he was for sure dying.

"I definitely need a health bar to see my own hp. And is this dragon not gonna die! His body is now filled with red blood, he must as well be a blood dragon!"

Arthur laughed in so much joy as he kept falling slicing the dragons body. The damages were definitely working as the dragon is now inside the water trying to drown his insides.

As cool and as impossible it is to imagine what was happening, Arthur's body sadly cannot handle it anymore. The system finally warned him

[You Are In Extremely Low Health.]

Water started to reach Arthur and he was not falling anymore. But he was drowning...

"Wait I don't need to breathe...". Well, he didn't need to breath, but as the dragon swam deeper in the water the preassure got stronger.

Arthur's body was damged heavily as he even vomited green blood many times.

Arthur despite being submerged deep in water, continued to keep stabbing and stabbing the dragon.

Arthur was exhausted and his body failed to listen... then it popped up. "Oh... how cliche...".
