'Shit!'
Luke screamed in his mind as he instinctively lowered his hands to block his face while he shut his eyes. He felt the temperature around him rise exponentially for a moment, however, nothing happened.
Swoosh!
The ball of fire sped past Luke and slammed into a beast lunging at him from behind.
Bam.
The beast was knocked back by the ball of fire and as soon as it got hit, the fireball expanded into a column of fire, which expanded rapidly until it was consumed entirely.
After staying in that position for a few seconds, Luke slowly opened his eyes.
'I am fine?' Luke muttered in his head in shock.
For a moment he believed he was the target of the attack and waited for death, but it never came. It was then he heard the painful shrieks of a beast behind him.
