Following Adele's words, the lights in the room turned off and then other lights began to come on, one after the other, and led to another area inside the house that Jason hadn't been to before.
"... That's pretty cool," Jason nodded, impressed by the superhero lair vibe.
"I know right," Adele nodded smugly, impressed with herself.
"... So this is what you use your money to do instead of eating outside?" Jason turned to her and asked with an amused grin.
"Like you're not already planning to do something like this as well," Adele retorted, pulling off an excellent question dodge.
"That's beside the point darling… you know what, it doesn't even matter,"
"What I wanna know now is where those lights lead to," Jason said and stood up.
"Follow me then," Adele stood up as well and started walking forward, following the lights.
