Jason received the ball from Mckennie in the center. With a feint, he quickly confused his marker, thinking he would try to get past the man's left. Instead, he chose to send the ball forward because Ronaldo was making a run down the left.
Manafa wasn't able to react to the ball flying past him and Ronaldo who was making a run raced after the pass Jason made while Jason made a run into the center instead, freeing himself to be able to receive a return pass if it came back his way.
Surprisingly, it did come back his way as Ronaldo chose not to waste energy on a run into the box from the left when there were quite a few passing options open to him.
As the ball rolled quickly towards, Jason, he glanced around and noticed Mylo rushing his way to try to hassle him off the ball, as well as a few other things.
