It was Uventus's next matchday in the Serie A, and they would be going up against Crotone for a chance at three points, which would secure their position as second on the table.
Currently, the Uventus team was behind the first position on the league table, Inter Milan and they were also a bit behind in terms of goal difference as well.
Lately, they had been shortening the distance between them in terms of goal difference, but Inter Milan had also made sure not to lose any games, ensuring that they didn't give the Uventus team a chance to overtake them on the league table.
The Uventus team however weren't losing any sleep over this as the season had just entered it's midway stages and there would be ample time to overtake the Inter Mila team in the games to come.
Of course, to ensure that, they also had to continue winning and not lose points unnecessarily, giving the Inter Milan team a chance to widen the distance between them.
