On Yeon Jin's signal, both got out of the shrub. Philip immediately started running towards the other side while Yeon Jin faced the assassins.
One of the assassins wanted to go after Philip but Yeon Jin threw the dagger at him, making sure to catch his attention and said in a flashy way,
"It's me you want," he picked up the other dagger from the floor and pointed it at them. "So, come at me."
The first sped towards him and he managed to dodge but countering their attacks seemed to be rather hard as all he had was a dagger.
'This is annoying.' he thought and was almost kicked from behind but he managed to evade that as well.
The assassins looked at each other and nodded their heads. It looked like they were about to get serious.
All of a sudden, they vanished.
"What the… ?" Yeon Jin thought they had run off but then he heard whistling daggers headed his way. "Ngh." He grunted in dissatisfaction.
